Order processing / Delivery Times
The QUT Bookshop endeavours to process orders within 24 - 48 hours of receipt. Expected delivery times for customers receiving goods are:
via Australia Post - up to 10 working days after Bookshop processing order.
Please contact the Bookshop if you have not received your order within these time frames. The Bookshop will contact you if there is a delay in processing or delivery of your order.
Freight Charges
The following charges are applicable on goods mailed out to customers:
Australia Post
orders under $150 $ 10.00 orders $150 and over $ 2.00 Express Post
orders under $140 $ 19.00 orders $140 and over $ 25.00 QUT Bookshop refund policy
The QUT Bookshop refund policy is in accordance with Fair Trading, QLD and guidelines are as follows:
Please choose carefully: Customers are not entitled to a refund if they simply change their mind, realise they can’t afford the item, make the wrong selection or find the item cheaper elsewhere.
Customers are entitled to refunds or exchanges where goods are faulty, wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you or are unfit for the purpose.
Textbook Returns
In addition to statutory rights as outlined above, a refund for textbook return will be considered where the following conditions are met:
Student withdraws or is granted exemption from unit of study on or before census date (i.e. end of week 4)
Item/s are returned to QUT Bookshop with required documentation and item on or before 14 days post census date (i.e. end of week 6)
Register receipt is produced as proof of purchase
Evidence of amended enrolment is provided
Goods are in mint condition
